A new panel for an old wrapping cloth.I say old, maybe I should say unfinished. This piece has been a very slow burner.A new panel was pieced in class earlier this week with pleated cloth, a little vintage scrap and a piece of very old handkerchief. Surface embroidery is now in progress. There will be stab stitch, bullion knots and almost certainly French knots.
